Fall 2026 Terror Management Lab - COMING SOON

in progress research - COMING SOON

Perception of Friendship & College Students

We are working with Dr. Natalie Kerr's Social Connection Laboratory to bring existential expertise to a project on perception of friendship and college students.

Airport Safety Message Experiments

Following the development of an existential model for developing airline safety briefings, our laboratory will be conducting multiple experiments testing message recall using our new model for message development.

Existential Themes in Interpersonal Reconstructive Therapy

We will be coding for existential themes in Interpersonal Reconstructive Therapy sessions - specifically examining for existential themes during patient interactions. This will inform our larger suicide prevention research.

Suicide Prevention in Japan

Collaborating with the Kabir Lab at Hiroshima University, we will be continuing our research in better understanding and supporting mental health and suicide prevention in Japan.

Several members of the lab will be traveling to Japan in January 2027 to continue this research.
